Denia
As previously mentioned, we got to stay with George for two nights after we left Sunseed on Monday.
He has an apartment in Denia which he is kitting out entirely from the local thrift shops. By this stage he’s a master of the bargain. I’ll let the pictures say the rest. Get a good look at some very clever repurposing and upcyclying.
The Boat
George also gave us the idea to get the boat to Italy. After weighing up the cost of ferry vs driving, we found that it would be roughly the same, and we would have less to drive. The data for carbon emissions of ferries varies wildly from being better than driving to being worse. If anyone knows a good source of this info, let us know. In the end we just assume carbon emissions are equal.
